Legacy since Claude Haiku 5.5 shipped on 2026-10-07, at ten times Haiku 5.5's rate on prompts up to 100K tokens. Retirement is committed no sooner than 2026-10-15 and no notice has been given; Anthropic promises at least 60 days, so it cannot retire on that date. It also uses the older tokenizer, so token counts are not comparable with 4.7+ models
